Hawaiian Chicken Wings
Chicken Wings:
Cut off wing tip and remove the bones of the next section of the wing
with a fillet knife, scraping and pushing all the meat to the "drumstick"
end of the wing. Now you have a little bone to hold with all the wing meat
in a clump at the end.
Marinate for 1 hour in:
2 t salt
2 t sugar
1/4 t msg (always optional)
1 t fresh ginger finely minced,almost a juice
1 clove garlic, finley minced
2 T soy sauce
2 T sherry, vodka or gin
This is a very thin batter, coat with, then deep fry:
1/2 C flour
1/2 C cornstarch
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 C water
