BUFFALO WINGS
This recipe is supposed to be the REAL Buffalo Wing recipe from the Anchor Bar in Buffalo.
The Sauce--This makes enough for about 30 "wingettes"
6 T (3 oz.) of FRANK'S Louisiana Hot Sauce (now Durkee's)
1/2 stick of margarine (not butter!)
1 T white vinegar
1/8 t celery seed
1/8 to 1/4 t Cayenne pepper
1/4 t red pepper
1/8 t. garlic salt
dash black pepper
1/4 t Worcestershire Sauce
1 to 2 t Tabasco Sauce
Mix all the ingredients in a small sauce pan over low heat until the
margarine is completely melted. Stir occasionally.
Buffalo Wings
Deep fry wings until crisp. Dain on paper towels. Melt 1 stick of butter
with about 5-6 T of Durkee hot sauce (more or less depending on how hot
you like it) and a 1/4 t vinegar. When melted put in bowl with lid.
Add chicken wings, put lid on and Shake. Serve with Blue cheese.
Ann's Hot Buffalo Wings
1 Jar Red Devil Hot Sauce
1 T Margarine
Chicken Wings
Flour
Seasoning
Cooking Oil
Pour hot sauce into pot add butter stir and heat until hot. Season
chicken wings coat with flour and fry in oil until
done.
Dip in hot sauce mixture until well moistened. Serve with ranch dressing.
