Sour Milk Chocolate Cake
Cream:
1c. sugar
1 t. vanilla
3 T. shortening
Add:
1/2 c. cocoa
1 t. salt
1 1/2c. flour
1 t. baking soda
1 c. sour milk (you can make this by adding about 1T.
vinegar to the milk & let sit a minute)
Bake in greased tube pan at 350' for approximately 35-45 min. A heavier chocolate cake, but very good. I put chocolate frosting or fudge on top and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
