Toll House Crumbcake

2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cup Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate Little Bits
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking soda
Toll House Crumb Topping (recipe and ingredients below)


Preheat oven to 350.

In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside.

In large bowl, combine butter, sugar and vanilla extract; beat until creamy.

Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.

Gradually add flour mixture alternately with sour cream.

Fold in remaining 1 1/2 cups of Nestle bits.

Spread into greased 13X9inch baking pan.

Sprinkle topping evenly over batter.

Bake for 40 to 45 mins.; cool.

Yield: 24 2" squares


Toll House crumb topping:

1 Tblsp all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. Nestle toll house little Bits semi sweet chocolate
2 Tblsp softened butter

In small bowl, combine flour, brown sugar and butter; mix well.

Stir in nuts and 1/2 cup Nestle Little Bits.
