GUMDROP ROSES
For each rose, you need 3 or 4 big pink (or whatever color you prefer) gumdrops. Roll them into ovals on a sugared board or pastry cloth.....sprinkle a little sugar over the candy, too, so rolling pin won.t stick. Cut the ovals in half crosswise.
To make the rose "bloom": Fold one corner of a half-oval at an angle, then wind to form rose center. Now press on additional half-ovals, shaping outer edges to resemble petals. Trim base.
Leaves: Roll out green gumdrops,l and with scissors snip "leaves" freehand, or make pattern and cut around with knife point.
