Brownie Pudding Cake
1 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. granulated sugar
5 Tbsp. cocoa powder
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. melted margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly
packed
1 c. water
Measure flour, granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa and baking powder and salt into sifter; sift into medium bowl. Combine milk, margarine and vanilla into measuring cup; stir into dry ingredients; fold in nuts. Spoon batter into 8 buttered (6 ounce) custard cups filling each 1/2 full.
Mix brown sugar and remaining 3 tablespoons cocoa in cup and sprinkle over batter in cups; spoon 2 tablespoons water into each cup and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until tops are firm. Turn into dessert dishes. Serve warm.
