Oil: Herbed Oil Recipes by Juanita

Heat the oil and herbs in a pan but do not let it get too hot. Cool. Put into a covered jar and refrigerate.

Herbed Olive Oil:
6 fresh rosemary sprigs, or 1 tsp. dried
6 whole black peppercorns
3 garlic cloves, coarsely chopped
1--3 bay leaves
2 fresh thyme sprigs, or 1/2 tsp. dried
2 fresh oregano sprigs, or 1/2 tsp. dried
Good quality olive oil


Hot Stir Fry Oil:
2 cups oil
2 Tbs. fresh gingerroot, chopped
2 Tbs. dried red pepper flakes
2 or 3 large cloves garlic, chopped
