Zesty Herb Seasoning

1 Grated peel of lemon
1 tablespoon Ground mace
2 tablespoons Ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon Dried basil leaves -- crushed
1 tablespoon Dried thyme leaves -- crushed
1 tablespoon Dried rosemary leaves -- crushed
2 teaspoons Paprika
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Pepper
1/2 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon Ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon Ground allspice
Combine all ingredients. Refrigerate in covered container. To use, sprinkle as desired over meat, poultry, or fish before broiling or baking.
Makes about 1/2 cup.
