posted by bionicgal 06-30-98 7:57 AM Cherry Pie pastry for 2-crust pie 1 cup sugar 1/4 cup cornstarch 1/2 tsp salt 5 cups pitted fresh tart cherries 1 Tblsp butter or margarine Roll out pastry and fit into a 9" pie plate. Preheat oven to 425* F. Combine all ingredients except butter and mix will. Pour into the prepared pie plate and dot with the butter. Roll out remaining pastry and place on top, crimping edges to seal.... cut a few slashes in top for steam and bake 50 to 60 min. until golden brown.-
