Orange Pastry
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
3 tablespoons sugar
pinch of salt
2 tsps finely zested orange peel
5 tablespoons cold butter, cut into small pieces
1/4 cup milk
Sift dry ingredients onto a waxed paper and combine with zest peel in a food processor.
Add pieces of butter and proccess only until a dough begins to form. Just a couple pulses will do it.
Gather the dough and slam it down onto a waxed paper covered work surface to release air bubbles.
Chill for 30 minutes in fridge. Roll out or use as you would for dumplings or pies or tarts.
