Chicken a la King 

1 cup sliced mushrooms 
1/2 cup red or green bell pepper (if desired) 
1/4 cup chopped onion 
butter or olive oil 
paprika 
2 cups cubed cooked chicken 
2 (10 3/4 oz) cans of cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup 
Milk 
salt and pepper 



Cube the chicken and with the butter or olive oil, cook in a large pot 
until no longer pink, add the mushrooms, onion, and peppers. 

Cook until veggies are tender. Add soups, stir to mix well. Add enough
milk to thin a little, so it is like a sauce. Cook until warmed, bubbling.

Serve over pasta, or rice, or dry toast topped with pepper and paprika to 
taste.
