Strawberry Fig Preserves
3 cups, washed and mashed figs
3 cups sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry JelloŽ
Cook for 3 minutes, after mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat and add Jello; stir well. Cook for an additional minute, after it comes to a second boil.
Seal in sterilized jars.
