BBQ Cole Slaw

1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup vinegar (white or apple cider)
1 cup catsup
Shredded cabbage


Mix the sugar and vinegar together in a saucepan, over low heat, stir until sugar is dissolved. Add catsup and simmer for 3-5 minutes. Let this mixture cool before pouring over the cabbage. Toss to mix well and refrigerate.

The sauce can be doubled or tripled to accommodate larger amounts needed. Just keep the vinegar and sugar amounts to half that of the catsup. I tried hot and spicy catsup once and thought it was good, too!
