1 1/2 TBSP. bacon drippings
5 TBSP. onion, minced
3/4 cup ketchup
6 TBSP. cider vinegar
3 TBSP. brwon sugar
1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
3/4 tsp. salt.
Mix all ingredients in blender. Makes 1 1/2 cups and keeps forever in the refrigerator
For Beef Barbecue
bonless chuck roast 3-4 lbs.
1 cup water
1 large onion-chopped
1-2 tsp. ground cloves
Place beef in crockpot and cook all day or overnight, turning so meat is covered in juices.
Drain juice off and save. Shred beef and pour the barbecue sauce over it.
