Black Walnut Spread served with Herb Scented Crostini

1 baguette, sliced and toasted

Black Walnut Spread:
1-8oz pkg cream cheese
1-1/2 Tblsp dry ranch dressing mix
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 to 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup toasted black walnuts

Salad Mix:
Baby Salad Mixture, chopped finely (about 2 cups)
Fresh horseradish, grated
dried tomatoes, diced
2-1/2 Tblsp olive oil
1 to 1-1/2 Tblsp wine vinegar
1/2 tsp tarragon dijon mustard
1 small garlic clove or roasted garlic
salt and pepper to taste.

Put all ingredients for walnut spread in food processor and blend.

Mix salad mixture with horseradish and dried tomatoes in a bowl. Mix the olive oil, vinegar, mustard, garlic and salt and pepper together. Put amount, to taste, on salad mixture.

Spread the walnut mixture on toast and top with a Tblsp of salad mixture.
