Frozen Log
1/2 lb sharp Cheddar cheese
8 slices lean bacon, uncooked
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 small onions, peeled
1 tsp dry mustard
2 tsp mayonnaise
Toasted bread rounds, crackers or split English muffins, for serving
Place all ingredients, excluding crackers or breads intended for serving, in a food chopper or processor.
Mix well.
Roll into a log with diameter being approximately size of a half dollar coin.
Wrap log in waxed paper.
Freeze or chill, for several hours.
To serve: slice log and place each slice on an English muffin, toast round or cracker, as preferred.
Brown under broiler at a low heat, until he bacon bits are cooked and mixture is bubbly.
Serve at once.
Makes approximately 30 servings, or more, depending on thickness of slices.
