Praline Cheese Roll

8 oz (250 g) cream cheese, softened
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 tsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 cup chopped pecans

Beat cream cheese with garlic until smooth. Spoon onto waxed paper into a log shape 10 inches long. Chill. Roll log to smooth out it's surface and make it more rounded, and check to be sure it is 10 inches long. Wrap and chill.

In microwaveable bowl, mix butter, brown sugar, Dijon and Worcester; heat until bubbly and slightly thickened, about 2 minutes. Stir in nuts. Spread on waxed paper, aluminum foil, silpat or Teflon sheet (a buttered spatula and spoon or knife may be helpful) and shape into a rectangle about 10" x 6". Allow to cool until lukewarm and flexible.

Place cheese log along 10" edge and roll up to completely cover cheese. Press to seal edge. Wrap and chill well. Slice off ends for appearance, if desired.

Serve sliced, with crackers.
