Debbie’s Fruit Dip
1/3 cup sugar
4 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup unsweetened Pineapple Juice
1/4 cup orange Juice
2 eggs, beaten
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
Combine dry ingredients in a saucepan. Blend in fruit juices. Cook, stirring constantly until thick and bubbly (about 5-8 minutes).
Slowly stir some of this hot mixture into the eggs. Return to saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly for 3-5 minutes or until mixture thickens slightly. Cool 5 minutes. Soften cream cheese and beat into cooled mixture. Chill.
Makes 2 cups.
