Dip: Southwest Chili Dip

Southwest Chili Dip

8 oz grated cheddar cheese
1 cup mayonnaise (low fat okay)
2 1/4 oz can chopped ripe olives, drained
4 1/2 oz can chopped green chili peppers, drained
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
few dashes Tabasco
1 med tomato chopped
1/4 cup sliced green onion


In large mixing bowl stir together the cheddar, mayonnaise, half of the olives, the green chili peppers, garlic and Tabasco. Spread mixture into a 9 inch quiche or pie pan.

Bake at 350 for 20 min until heated (or micro at high for 4 to 6 minutes, stirring twice)

Sprinkle remaining olives, chopped tomatoes and green onions on top. Serve with pita or taco chips.
