Potluck Spinach Dip

1 loaf round French bread
1 loaf French bread (does not need to be round), cut into pieces for dipping
1 package chopped spinach, defrosted and moisture squeezed out, but not dry
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1 package Knorr's leek soup
2 green onions, chopped
1/2 can water chestnuts, chopped


Cut top from round bread. Scoop out bread, leaving 1/2 inch inside. Save inside bread for dipping. Cut other loaf into pieces for dipping.

Combine remaining ingredients. (To take to a Potluck, carry in a bowl until ready to serve.) Place in bread and serve with bread pieces around the platter. As it disappears, the crust can be eaten also.




Spinach Dip

4 green onions (Cut up)
1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts (Cut up)
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach
1 cup mayonaise
1 pt. sour cream
1 pkg. Mrs. Grasses Vegetable Dip
Sheepherd's Bread

Mix everything together in a bowl. Then hollow out the bread and pour the mix into it.



Spinach Dip

1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach, thawed and well drained
8 oz. sour cream
8 oz. Miracle Whip (adds zip!)
1 pkg. Knorr's Vegetable soup mix
1 (8 oz.) can waterchestnuts, chopped
1/3 cup chopped sweet onion


Mix all together and allow flavors to "marry" To serve hollow out a loaf of Kings Hawiaan Bread and fill with dip. Cut up the part you cut away to hollow out the bread and cut up another loaf into cubes to serve.
