Clone to Hot Artichoke Spinach Dip
Todd Wilbur's Top Secret Restaurant Recipes
1 cup chopped artichoke hearts (canned or frozen, thawed)
1/2 can frozen chopped spinach -- thawed
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 t crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 t salt
1/8 t garlic powder
dash ground pepper
ON THE SIDE
crackers, chips, sliced bread (toasted)
Boil the spinach & artichoke hearts in a cup of water in a small
saucepan over medium heat until tender, 10 minutes.
Drain in a colander when done.
Heat the cream cheese in the microwave on high 1 minute.
Or, use a saucepan to heat cheese over medium heat,just until hot.
Add the spinach & artichoke hearts and stir well.
Add remaining ingredients to the cream cheese, combine.
Serve hot with crackers, chips, or toasted bread for dipping.
