1 loaf (8 oz.) cocktail dill or pumpernickel bread (24 slices)
4 Tbsp 1000 Island dressing (more or less to taste)
8 slices pastrami, trimmed of all fat and cut into thirds
1 small can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
6 slices Swiss cheese, quartered

Preheat oven to 350.

Spread bread slices with 1/2 tsp dressing each.

Top with pastrami, then divide sauerkraut among slices (about 1 - 1 1/2 tsp of sauerkraut each).

Top with Swiss cheese and bake for 13 minutes. Serve immediately.
