Mushroom Pate
2 C mushrooms
2 Tbsps butter
1 garlic clove, crushed
2 eggs, hard boiled
salt/freshly ground pepper
Wash and dry mushrooms, chop them finelyuse (can use food processor).
Melt butter in saucepan, put in mushrooms and garlic and cook over fairly high heat until mushrooms are tender amd any liquid they produce has evaporated --may take ten minutes.
Season the mxture and leave to cool slighly.
Spread on crostini or brushetta and top with slices of egg.
