Sausage Cheese Bites

1 pound mild pork sausage (the Italian saisage idea from Linda's recipe is a good idea)
4 Bisquick
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup water


Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In a skillet, cook and crumble sausage. Drain. In a large bowl, combine Bisquick and cheese. Add the sausage and stir till well blended. Stir in water just till mixed.

Shape into 1-1/2 inch balls. Place on greased baking sheets. Bake at 375° for about 15 minutes or till golden brown.

Baked bites may be frozen; reheat at 375° for 6-8 minutes. Makes about 4 dozen.
