Shrimp Canapes

1 lb medium shrimp, shelled, cleaned, deveined and cooked (you can do this in the microwave)
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 Tbs. horse radish
1 loaf of very thinly sliced firm bread
Cocktail Sauce (Or Chili Sauce)
Parsley (optional)
Pastry bag fitted with small star tip (optional)

Mix together cream cheese and horseradish, spread on bread slices.

If using pastry tube,put remaining cream cheese mixture in bag.

Using a cookie cutter or a glass, cut 4 1-1/2" rounds from each slice of coated bread.

Cut shrimp lengthwise so it you have a piece of shrimp that lays in a semicircle on the bread.

Add a dollop of cocktail sauce and tiny bit of parsley, if used. With pastry bag, pipe small ruffle from one end of shrimp around to the other.
