  Flavored Pressed Tofu 
  2 1/2 cups water 
  1 1/2 cups soy sauce 
  1/2 tsp aniseed 
  1 Tablespoon sugar 
  1 package (4 blocks) pressed tofu 
  In a medium sized saucepan, boil water, soy sauce, aniseed and sugar. 
Add in tofu and bring to a boil. Do not overcook as tofu becomes airy when 
overcooked. 
Put in fridge for 1 week. Reboil.
 Refrigerate and serve cold, drizzled with sesame oil and sprinkled with 
sliced green onions.
