  PLUM SAUCE 
  Ingredients~ 
  5 lb plums 
  3 1/2 lb sugar 
  1 1/2 cups cider vinegar 
  1 teaspoon ground cloves 
  1 teaspoon allspice 
  1 teaspoon nutmeg 
  1 teaspoon cinnamon 
  Method~ 
  Cook plums in a small amount of water until done. Run through a sieve to remove skins and seeds. 
  To plum pulp, add the rest of the ingredients.  Cook until thickened. 
  Pour into hot sterilised jars. 
  Process in a boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
