Baked Bean Quintet

6 slices bacon
1 cup onion chopped
1 garlic, minced
16 oz. butter beans, drained
15 1/4 oz. lima beans
15 oz. pork and beans
15 1/4 oz. kidney beans, drained
3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup molasses
1/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1/2 teaspoon pepper


Cook bacon in large skillet until crisp; remove, and reserve drippings in skillet. Crumble bacon and set aside

Cook onion and garlic in drippings, stirring constantly till done. Combine bacon, onion, and remaining ingredients. in greased 2 1/2 qt. baking dish. Cover bake at 375 for 1 hour or until beans are tender. Yield: 8 servings
