Bean Pot
1 (15-16 oz) can butter beans (tiny yellow or green baby limas)
1 (15-16 oz) can kidney beans
1 (15-16 oz) can pork & beans
chopped onion, to taste
1/2 c. vinegar
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
2 cloves garlic
1 lb bacon (or less, to taste)
Preheat oven to 325° F.
Combine beans, plus liquid, and all other ingredients in a large cast iron pot or Dutch oven and mix.
Bake at 325 F for five (5) hours.
Stir after the first hour and then every 1/2 hour after.
