Company Baked Beans
Ingredients:
1/2 lb bacon slices
l cup finely chopped celery
3 cups finely chopped onion
3 lb. ground beef
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cans (29 oz cans) baked beans
1 1/2 cups catsup
3 Tablespoons prepared mustard
Salt and Pepper to taste
2 beef buillion cubes dissolved in 2/3 cup hot water
Preheat oven to 375.
Fry bacon slices in skillet and when crisp remove from pan.
Crumble and set aside.
In drippings saute celery and onion. Set aside.
Drain excess grease. Cook beef with minced garlic until meat is brown. Drain grease.
Combine cans baked beans and ground meat mixture with catsup and prepared
mustard, salt and pepper to taste and dissolved beef bouillion.
Add crumbled bacon and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes.
