Garbanzo Roast
2 cup garbanzos
2 cup bulgar wheat
1/2 cup diced onion
1/4 tsp. sage
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup green pepper, diced
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup sliced olives
1/4 cup diced fresh tomatoes
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Soak garbanzos overnight.
Blend half the garbanzos with 1 cup water. Cook the bulgar wheat with 2 cups water and sage, oregano and salt to taste.
Saute onions, green pepper and celery. Mix all ingredients. Bake 1 hour at 350º F.
Contains 120 calories per 1/3 cup serving.
