Grits Third Day Burgers

Third Day Burgers

3 cup boiling water
1 cup soy grits
1 cup bulgar wheat or cracked wheat
3 Tbsp. Dr. Bonner (if desired)
3/4 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup sesame seed
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
2 Tbsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. sage
1 tsp. thyme
1 to 2 tsp. sea salt


To boiling water add grits and wheat. Let sit a few minutes. Add remaining ingredients.

Make into patties. Cook in skillet with a little oil until golden. Freezes very well.
