CINNAMON-PECAN BREAD
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup butter, cut up
2 tablespoons sugar
1 egg
2 cups all-purpose or bread flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon active dry yeast
2 tablespoons butter, melted
3 tablespoons sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Powdered Sugar Glaze (recipe follows)
Preheat oven to 350.
Add milk, butter, 2 tablespoons sugar, egg, flour, salt, and dry yeast
to bread machine, according to manufacturer's directions.
Select dough
cycle. When cycle is complete, remove dough from machine.
Cover dough and let rest for 10 minutes.
Roll out dough on a well-floured surface, forming a 12-inch square.
Brush with 2 tablespoons melted butter.
Combine cinnamon and 3 tablespoons sugar, then sprinkle over the butter.
Scatter with pecans.
Roll up, jelly-roll style. Pinch seams and ends to seal. Place on a
greased baking sheet, seam side down.

rise in a warm place till almost doubled (about 30 to 45 minutes).
Bake until done (about 20 to 25 minutes). Cool on wire rack.
Make powdered sugar glaze by combining 3/4 cup sifted powdered sugar
and 2 to 3 teaspoons milk, stirring
to make a drizzling consistency. Drizzle over bread.
