ABM Gingerbread Loaf

GINGERBREAD LOAF

3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup light molasses
1 egg
3 T. butter
3 and 1/3 cups bread flour
1 T. brown sugar
3/4 t. salt
3/4 t. ground cinnamon
3/4 t. ground ginger
1 t. active dry yeast

LEMON ICING:
1/2 c sifted powdered sugar
1/4 t. vanilla
2 t lemon juice
1 to 3 T. Milk enough for proper consistency

INSTRUCTIONS FOR LOAF:
Add the ingredients, according to manufacturer's directions. Use light setting, if available. If desired, when bread is cool, drizzle with the following lemon icing.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR LEMON ICING:
In a small mixing bowl stir together ingredients and enough milk (1 to 3 t.) to make an icing of drizzling consistency.
