Risa's Basil Breadsticks

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 cup warm water
1 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
1 tbsp Splenda Sweetener -- or sugar
2 tbsp Basil-infused olive oil
2 1/2 cups bread flour
1 cup high gluten bread flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp dried basil -- crumbled
Place ingredients, except dried basil, in bread pan according to manufacturer directions. Use dough cycle. At the beeps, add the basil. When dough is ready, remove from pan and place in a greased bowl (non-metallic) for 1/2 hour to let rise again.
When risen, remove to floured work surface. Roll out to large rectangle. Cut, with pizza cutter or serrated knife, into 20 long strips. Either roll or leave plain.
Shape and place on a cookie sheet that has either been sprinkled with cornmeal or semolina flour, or placed on a nonstick sheet (parchment paper or something like a Silpat) and cover with plastic wrap. Let rest for 10 minutes while oven is pre-heating.
Preheat oven to 350°F. When hot, bake for 20-25 minutes until browned. Remove to wire rack to cool.
