Bread

3 packages active dry yeast
2-1/4 cups warm water
1/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup flour
2 eggs
1 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon salt
5 to 6 cups all purpose flour


In a large bowl. dissolve yeast in water.

Add sugar and oil; mix well.

Stir in one cup flour, let stand until mixture bubbles, about 5 minutes.

In a small bowl, beat eggs and water.

Add with salt to batter; mix until smooth.

Add 4 cups flour and beat until smooth.

Add enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.

Turn out onto floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes.

Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top.

Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 20 minutes.

Punch down dough and divide in half.

Shape into loafs of your choice.

Let stand until double, about 15-20 minutes.

Bake 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
