Goat-Cheese Bruschetta

1 large clove garlic
12 slices French baguette (1/2-inch thick) -- cut on diagonal
1/4 cup goat cheese (about 2 ounces)


Heat broiler.

Cut garlic clove in half. Rub slices of baguette with cut sides of garlic. Spread 1 teaspoon goat cheese evenly on each baguette slice. Place slices on baking sheet and broil until cheese and bread are lightly toasted - 1 to 2 minutes.

Makes 12 slices
