Buttermilk Corn Sticks
2 eggs
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup flour
2 teas. baking powder
1/2 teas. baking soda
2/3 cup cornmeal
3/4 teas salt
1 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup melted butter
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Beat eggs and add the sugar. Mix well.
Sift the dry ingred. together. Add the dry ingred. alternately with buttermilk to the egg/sugar mixture. Stir in the melted butter
Bake in greased cornstick pans for 18 minutes, or a greased 10 inch cast iron fry pan for 25 minutes.
