Kreplach
2 cups flour
2 eggs
water
salt
butter
Place flour on a board; make a well in the center. Put eggs in the well. Mix eggs and flour; add a little water so the dough will be soft. Roll dough on a floured surface to 1/16-inch thick. Lightly salt the dough; cut into 1 1/2-inch squares; place filling in the center. Fold the dough over, forming a triangle. Press corners together; drop them in boiling water and cook for 20 minutes. Strain; pour melted butter over them.
Filling (Meat):
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic
Fry ground beef; remove fat. Mix in remaining ingredients; put a pinch on each square.
Filling (Cheese):
8 oz. farmer cheese
1 egg
1 Tbsp. sugar
Combine ingredients together; place a pinch in center of square.
