HOMINY GORDITAS 
2 (15 oz.) cans hominy - drained 
1 tsp. salt 
1 (15 oz.) can refried beans 
1 c. mashed avocado 
1 c. dairy sour cream 
In large bowl combine hominy and salt. 
Mash until consistency of mush. 
With hands, shape into rounds, 1 1/2 inches in diameter and 1/2-inch 
thick. 
In skillet, fry gorditas in small amount of hot fat about 1 minute on 
each side or until golden. 
Drain on paper toweling. 
Meanwhile, heat refried beans. 
Top each gordita with some of the beans, avocado and sour cream.  
Makes about 20.
