Bran Muffins

2 cups Bran BudsŪ cereal
2 cups Boiling water
2 cups raisins -- soaked in hot H2O
4 eggs
5 cups sugar
1 cup oil
5 cups flour
3 Tablespoons baking soda
2 tsp salt
1 quart butter milk (the powdered works fine)
4 cups Bran flakes

Preheat oven to 400.

Soak bran buds in boiling water in separate bowl. Soak raisins in hot water if desired.

In large bowl, cream eggs and sugar, add oil and cream together.

Add flour, salt, baking soda, butter milk, branbuds(should be mushy) and bran flakes. Mix well. Stir in raisins (drain first).

Bake for 15-25 minutes.
