Low Fat Bran Muffins

1 1/4 cups 100% branŽ cereal
1 cup milk
1/4 cup molasses
2 teaspoons sugar
2 egg whites
1 cup flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 apple -- chopped fine
1/2 cup raisins


Preheat oven 350 degrees. Soak together the first 5 ingredients for about 5 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and stir into bran mixture. Mix until moistened.

Fill paper lined muffin tin about 3/4 full and bake for 15-20 minutes or until tester comes clean.

Note: I calculated 3 points (WW 123) per muffin
