Six Week Bran Muffins

1 (15 oz.) box Raisin Bran cereal
1 cup oil
3 cups sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 quart buttermilk
5 cups of flour
5 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons salt
Note: additional ingredients


Mix together all ingredients and store in covered container until you need. Fill paper lined muffin tins 1/2 full. Bake in 400 oven for 10 minutes.

This batter will keep for up 6 weeks stored in refrigerator (that is if you don't gobble it up faster).

Extra raisins and nuts are optional and can be added to the batter as you use it.
