Pretzels
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 1/4 c. warm water
1 T. sugar
1 T. salt
4 c. unsifted flour
Egg white
Course salt
Preheat oven to 450.
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add sugar, salt and 4 c. flour. Mix well.
Shape peices of dough into large fat pretzels on cookie sheet. Thin beaten
egg white with 1 teaspoon water and brush each pretzel.
Sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake until golden brown, about 12-15 minutes.
