Amount Measure Ingredient, Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 1/2 teaspoons yeast
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3 cups bread flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup warm water
2 tablespoons butter or lard, heaping
1 egg

Add ingredients to bread machine according to manufacturer's instructions. Process on dough cycle.

Caramel mixture:
1/3 to 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons white sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/3 cup butter, melted

Mix pecans, brown sugar, white sugar and cinnamon and set aside.

When dough is ready, remove to a lightly floured surface, roll or pat into a 12 x 9 inch rectangle. Brush with 1/3 cup melted butter. Sprinkle cinnamon mixture over butter. Roll dough jelly roll style. Pinch edges to seal. Cut 12 pieces and place in a greased 9 x 13 pan. Cover and let rise for 45 minutes.

Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Bake for 20-25 minutes until a light golden brown. When done, tip out on a cookie sheet immediately!

Caution: caramel mixture in bottom of pan and on top of buns stays hot for a few minutes and may cause serious injury.
