Cream Cheese Bars
2 pkgs. crescent rolls
1 egg yolk (save white)
1 c. sugar
2 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
Topping:
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. slivered almonds, optional
Use 1 pkg. crescent rolls to line a 9x13-inch pan, sealing perforations.
Combine egg yolk, sugar, cream cheese and vanilla and spread mixture
over dough.
Unroll second pkg. of crescent rolls and place over cheese mixture.
Beat egg white and spread on top.
Topping:
Combine 1/4 c. sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over top.
Sprinkle with slivered almonds, if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
