Mango Nut Bread

1/2 cup butter or solid shortening
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 cups sifted all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup finely chopped mango
1 tablespoon lime juice
1/2 cup chopped nuts


Cream butter and sugar in a mixing bowl. Add eggs. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Add mango and lime juice. Mix well. Stir in nuts. Turn into a greased 9X5X3 inch loaf pan.Bake in a 375 degree oven for 1 hour or till done. Do not cut bread until the next day.
