Grandma's Cinnamon Rolls

1 1/4 cups water
3 cups flour (bread flour gives great texture)
2 tbsp. dry milk
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. butter or margarine
2 tsp. yeast (not the instant kind)

Combine ingredients in bread machine according to manufacturer and put through the entire dough cycle.

Remove and roll out onto a floured surface in a rectangle shape.

Melt 1/2 cup butter or margarine and pour enough into two pie plates to cover bottom. Spread the rest of the melted butter onto the dough. Sprinkle brown sugar in each pie plate and over dough (the more sugar used the stickier the bun. Sprinkle cinnamon over dough and about 1/2 cup of raisins as well (omit raisins if you wish).

Roll up the dough length wise to make a long rope. Cut into 1 inch slices and place in pie plates. Cover and let rise 2 hours.

Bake in 350 degree oven til golden brown on top (about 10 mins). Remove from oven and immediately invert pie plate on a sheet of wax paper. Cool. Serve warm. Freezes well.
