Cracker Barrel Hash Brown Potato Casserole Clone
2c. shredded American or cheddar cheese
1-10 1/2oz can cream of chicken soup
1c. sour cream
1c. finely chopped onion (optional)
1/4c butter, melted
1/4t salt
1/4t pepper
1-32oz pkg frozen loose-pack hash brown potatoes, thawed
1c corn flakes, crushed
1T. butter, melted
IN A LARGE MIXTURE BOWL COMBINE THE SHREDDED CHEESE, CHICKEN SOUP, SOUR
CREAM, CHOPPED ONION, 1/4C BUTTER, SALT & PEPPER: MIX WELL.
FOLD IN THE THAWED HASH BROWN POTATOES. TURN MIXTURE INTO A GREASED 9x13
BAKING DISH.
TOSS TOGETHER THE CORNFLAKES & 1T OF MELTED BUTTER & SPRINKLE OVER THE
POTATO MIXTURE.
BAKE @ 350 FOR ABOUT 1 HR OR UNTIL THE CASSEROLE
IS GOLDEN BROWN & THE POTATOES ARE TENDER.
