Baked French Toast

2 Large Tart Apples
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1/4 Pound Margarine
1 Large Loaf Italian Bread
5 Egg -- beaten
1 1/2 Cups Milk
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
Peel and slice apples. Place sliced apples in a greased 9x13-inch pan.
Drizzle maple syrup over apples. Blend sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle
over apples and syrup.
Melt margarine and pour over all.
Slice bread 3/4" thick and place over apples.
Get in as much bread as possible.
Beat eggs and add milk and vanilla. Pour over bread.
Refrigerate overnight.
Preheat oven to 350°. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes.
